Women Heavy Equipment Operators

Sureway, Olds College and Women Building Future’s team to launch program to train women heavy equipment operators.

On June 1st, 2009 , a 17-week program got underway at the Women Building Futures’ training facility in Edmonton with an official enrolment of 15 women. Eventually, the students will move to Sureway Construction’s site for hands-on learning and equipment operation.
